Children aged 3 and over may toboggan if accompanied. The companion must be at least 8 years old and at least 1.35 m tall. From the age of 8, everyone may toboggan alone. Unfortunately, children under the age of 3 are not allowed to toboggan for safety reasons. However, there are also many attractions without a minimum age.

Two people fit on one toboggan, but you are also welcome to toboggan alone. Please check the minimum age beforehand and bring an accompanying person (if necessary). We have noted down all the important dates of the attractions.

There is no maximum height, there are also sledders who are over 2 meters tall. On the Roter Frankenrodel the maximum weight is 170kg and on the Gelber Frankenbob 150kg.

Our season starts at the end of March and we can operate until November if the weather is good. Take a look at our traffic light system for the daily opening times.

No, you can buy our toboggan tickets easily and conveniently directly from us at the ticket office. But you can also buy them via our online store. It is not possible to reserve toboggan rides.

Yes - every toboggan rider must buy a ticket. Even if you are only the accompanying person for the under 8-year-old child.

We are actually open in almost any weather. Gray clouds and wind can't harm us. If there is a rain shower, we unfortunately have to close for a short time. Just check the daily OPENING HOURS before your visit to be on the safe side.

Unfortunately, our Roter Frankenrodel must remain closed when it rains. But if you don't mind a little rain shower, then you can also ride the Gelber Frankenbob. Our rain canopies will protect you. If the rain lasts longer or there is a thunderstorm, we will have to close the facility. If you are unsure, take a look at the webcam.

You can enter the Erlebnisfelsen Pottenstein site free of charge. To use our rides, you will need to buy a ticket at our ticket offices on site. You can find the prices for our rides on our PRICE PAGE.

Our toboggan tickets are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. You will also find the expiration date on the toboggan tickets. Once the ticket has expired, it can no longer be exchanged.

Our toboggan tickets are valid for all rides. You decide for yourself whether you redeem a ride for the red Roter Frankenrodel, the yellow Gelber Frankenbob or the green Hexenbesen.

Everything is much more fun without a rucksack! You will find lockers for your rucksack or bag in front of the toilets for a fee. These are then safely stored and you can toboggan without any worries!

In your own interest and due to safety regulations, pregnant women are not permitted to use the summer toboggan run. However, there are plenty of good vantage points where you can watch your loved ones tobogganing in comfort.

With your toboggan ticket, you go through the turnstile and get on the next free toboggan. Our staff will then give you a brief introduction to the braking system. And then the wild ride begins. Using the brake lever, you decide for yourself how fast you want to go. When you reach the bottom, you simply remain comfortably seated and are automatically pulled up again with our lift system.

Our tickets are valid for 1 hour from the time they are redeemed (at the turnstile). So you can walk back down and up again in between. Perfect for testing out our slide and climbing chimney...

Yes - Skywalk and the high-altitude experience are barrier-free. Simply register with us at the toboggan cash desk at the beginning. We will then take you up in comfort in the elevator.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the Sykwalk. Your four-legged friend is welcome to quench their thirst at our dog station while you enjoy the view.

The early bird sleds longer! In the morning, when most guests are still on their way to the adventure rock, you have particularly short waiting times. We then enjoy the tranquillity of nature. This is a real insider tip: on Saturday mornings, you can enjoy excellent tobogganing without long waiting times and with the first rays of sunshine.

You are welcome to buy tickets via our webshop before your visit. This will save you the waiting time on the day of your visit. Of course, you can also buy tickets on site.

We open daily from 10 am. Depending on the time of year and vacations, we are open at least until 5 p.m. and longer if required. We are also open at weekends and on public holidays!

The summer season starts at the end of March and ends at the beginning of November. We are open every day during this period. In winter we are open during the vacations, on public holidays and in good weather.

We are a pet-friendly adventure mountain, so you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend with you. We ask you to keep dogs on a lead. However, dogs are not allowed on the summer toboggan run and the Skywalk.

You can park comfortably in our parking lots. It's only a 5-minute walk to the Erlebnisfelsen Pottenstein. The signs will show you the way.

Yes, our location is barrier-free. You are welcome to visit us with a baby carriage or wheelchair.

Yes, you can. You can buy these from us in the webshop. There you have the option of sending them directly or printing them out.

Yes, there is of course a baby changing room at our location. This is located within the wheelchair-accessible toilets.

Yes, we are an animal-friendly theme park. You can spend the day with your furry loved ones without having to worry. Please note that there is a leash requirement on site.
